RELIGION AND MORAL SCIENCE CLASSES
Religion and Moral Science classes are conducted in all schools. Three periods in a week are spared for this purpose. Half yearly and Annual examinations are conducted based on prescribed syllabus and text books.
RETREAT FOR TEACHING AND NON TEACHING STAFF
One day retreat for teaching and non teaching staff is conducted every year at various centres. Renowned preachers are leading the retreat.
SCHOLARSHIPS
A common examination is conducted every year in February. Scholarships are awarded to five students in each standard who score highest marks in the examination.
1) Arch Bishop Kavukattu Memorial Scholarship - for Standards 3, 6 and 9.
2) Mar Joseph Powathil Scholarship - Standards 5 and 8
3) Mahajubilee Scholarship - Standards 4, 7 and 10
These Scholarships are distributed on 9th October, every year, the death anniversary of Arch Bishop Mar Mathew Kavukattu.
SASTRAPADHAM
'Sastrapadham' a science magazine for students is published by the science Education Trust Kottayam, which is constituted by Changanacherry, Pala and Kanjirapally Dioceses. Corporate Management takes initiative to circulate this magazine in our schools. All Kerala Quiz Competition is conducted every year under the auspices of SET. In these dioceses in turn, residential camp for four days for students is also conducted every year during the Onam Holidays.
KCSL
Unit of Kerala Catholic Students League is formed in all our schools. This organisation enables our students to lead a Catholic life and to be a lighted lamp on the light stand and the salt of the earth. Various competitions are also held under KCSL every year.
MERIT DAY
Merit day is celebrated in June every year. Students who have exhibited special talents and teachers who have rendered meritorious service in the various fields of activities in schools are honoured at the function. Trophies, prizes, scholarships and awards are also distributed.
STUDENT'S DIARY
Students diary is prepared and distributed at the beginning of every school year.
SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT FUND
Teaching and non teaching staff contribute one percent of their annual salary towards the school development fund. Amount collected is utilized for financial aid to temporary appointees and for major building improvements. Mainly this fund is aiming the betterment of the infrastructure of schools.
MOTHER THERESA FUND
All the students and staff of our schools donate a small amount to raise this fund. It is utilized to help the students when they are in need, such as accidents. medical treatment or disasters.
RANK LIST
Applications are invited from eligible candidates, and after a written test and interview, subject wise rank lists of teachers are prepared in every three years. Norms for the test and interview are approved by the Education Committee. Validity of a rank list in normal course, is for three years.

COUNSELLING SERVICE
A team of fifteen counselors comprising Rev. Sisters and trained ladies is serving our students through this programme. They visit schools frequently and meet students. This programme helps the students to keep a sound and clear mind, address learning disabilities, and to develop an integral personality. As a result, they get a psycho spiritual formation and become mature for healthy interaction among themselves and the public.
